How I work
Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you, it’s about understanding you. Together, we’ll look beneath the surface to explore the patterns, defences, and emotions that shape how you relate to yourself and others. My approach is psychodynamic and integrative, meaning I’m interested in the roots of your experiences and how they continue to play out in the present, including within our work together.
I hold the therapeutic space with care, honesty, and curiosity. At times, it can feel uncomfortable to face what’s been avoided, but that’s often where insight and change begin. Through open and thoughtful exploration, our sessions become a space for reflection and discovery, a place where understanding deepens, and new ways of being can start to emerge. Whether you come to therapy feeling lost, stuck, or simply curious, I’ll be alongside you as you make sense of it all.

Is Therapy right for you?
You don’t have to be in crisis to start therapy. It can begin with a quiet sense feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of yourself. Perhaps it’s a pattern that keeps repeating, a critical voice that is getting louder, or emotions that catch you off guard.
Therapy offers space to slow down and listen to yourself in a different way. It’s a chance to explore what’s happening beneath the surface, to understand how past experiences might still shape your present, and to make room for new ways of being. As trust grows, so does the possibility for deeper understanding and lasting change.

Ready to begin?
If what you’ve read here resonates, I invite you to get in touch. The first step is an initial online assessment meeting, a short 30 minute session where we can get to know each other, talk about what’s brought you to therapy, and go over any questions or practical details. It’s also a chance for us both to see if we feel like a good fit. A small fee of £20 applies for this meeting to cover preparation and session time.
